Myspace. Now owned by fox (and over-run with pedophiles and their prey). Let the corporate take-over commence:

MySpace acts to calm teen safety fears

The best part of this article is the whole:

“We do not want users to have any sense that it is corporatised.”

and you thought corporations were sneaky? Yeah it’s My space, its just I’m borrowing it from fox. Hopefully they dont find what I have to say offensive to advertisers or too ‘risque’.

Fuck Fox

ooooooo! the power of ownership and self-governance.

Unforgivable …

I guess puffy wanted to be the first rapper with his own smell. I wonder if it just smells just like some other colognes that were popular in the late 70’s and early 80’s. What is most unforgivable is that while the flash animation of the slideshow is impressive, this EXTREME close-up looks a little too close:

Now that’s unforgivable. Should have taken some of the web development money and gotten a better photographer.

Rappers and makeshift moguls are stupid, at least unforgivable is a real word.

This HAS to be a misprint. It just seems dumb. I thought bars were places to get publicly intoxicated.

Officials Make Public Intoxication Arrests Inside Bars

Barowners need to start thinking about protecting their business interests and get to lobbying. Overpriced drinks is one thing, but getting arrested for consuming said overpriced drinks? FUCK that. Now its not only cheaper to get loaded at home, but safer–no need to worry that someone’s counting how many drinks you’ve had or if the broad you’re wreckless eye-balling is an undercover cop itching for you to fail a field sobriety test.

I hope Apple is forced to give up their DRM (Digital Rights Management) pursuits, because it’s just a road-block for consumers.

Greedy Companies and Lackeys and Sycophants09 Mar 2006 01:57 am

I guess it’s like a criminal skipping town and taking on an alias. This company has gone through what five name changes in four to six years, way to stay ahead of the law.

Aliases aside, these folks are shady. Especially in the DSL department.

These corporate greedy swine’s raised the price of my DSL from $24.99 (which was already too much) to $49.99 in the span of a single month because my contract had ended. If that was crooked enough imagine that the same tier of bandwidth was $19.99 on a month to month basis at the exact same time. Why was I charged $49.99 for the exact same service that would have cost someone else $19.99? and where is the department of consumer affairs when it comes to weights and measure audits for these companies shifty pricing antics?

To make matters worse, after calling I discover that new customers can sign up for a $12.99 a month plan for one year and that existing customers who have full-filled their contract requirements are ineligible for this promotion. “So let me get this straight. . .I have to disconnect my service, so that I can get my service re-connected so that I can pay $37 less per month?” Talk about genius. I guess they’re really banking on the lazy consumer. “Well disconnect it then, and quit wasting my time, I’m not paying more for a service that someone else is getting for less.”

SBC-yahoo-whatever version and logo is in fashion this season sucks. “Yes they deserved to die, and I hope they burn in hell!”

Well it wasn’t that bad, but no DSL for almost two weeks was a set back.

Greedy lackeys raise up off my port 25!

Ahoy! Matee!

Looks like there’s some folks sailing the high seas in Asia. I wonder if there is some Chinese equivalent of the RIAA or if they just leave it up to the cyber-police? I would have tested this chinese yahoo out, but aside from the language barrier, I like my door on its hinges (no ATF style raids please). Plus I didnt see anything I wanted, . . . yet.
