My two cents: all for faster internet. Not for paying more for it, considering that internet has transformed from independent content to corporate fuckery. Oh and the propaganda behind it is a little reminiscent of no-child-left behind (cause no child moves forward).

While this picture looks like a nice utopia (on your way to a bubble) notice it’s color segregated. They for got to paint the dollar sign seperation between which lanes you get to drive in on your way down the information super-highway of the future. This jumbled up :

is supposed to represent a regulated internet. Notice how everyone is stuck together and all the folks on bikes are showing their cracks.

The corporations that oppose net-neutrality aren’t in it for your freedom. There is a reason why roads are regulated & primarily owned by the federal government, they provide a vital social infrastructure. If the expectation is that the internet plays the same role in our virtual world, it would seem only fitting the some regulation be required.

Tangent

Looks like this might be an attempt to build torrent superhighway but it was a little to technical, maybe more on this later when I have more time for google.

Comedy and Lackeys and Sycophants19 Jun 2006 07:55 pm

So it looks like Screech is in dire financial straits. . .

After years of ’staring’ on the critically acclaimed situational comedy “Saved by the Bell” the ‘celebrity’ known as Screech is broke. The bank is going to foreclose on his washington home (owe’s $250,000). So now he is trying to sell t-shirts instead of just begging like other wash-ups. Here’s all Im saying, because I dont want this to come across as some right-winged-neo-WASP-conservative speech about capitalisms splendor, and everyone being able to carve their own.

It’s just if this guy would have Saved like what 4% of the obscene amounts of money he was making during Saved years (leave the pun alone) he wouldn’t need to be begging now. WTF? This washed up 80’s-icon-of-a-moron shouldn’t NEED charity he should have been thinking about that while living it up 80’s style. To make matters worse he doesnt even have a real job, he’s trying to be a comedian. (Not that ‘entertaining’ people isn’t a real job (although it isn’t) but come on, at what point do these wash-up’s throw in the towel and join the nine to fiver’s?)
This guy had to have made some money during his career why should anyone care about his lack of financial management when there are REAL poor people that are struggling to pay rent or living in the streets?

Elitist prick, someone ought smack his t-shirt owners & tell them to Paypal me some money so that someone who actually works hard can afford a home, while they are ignoring the truly impoverished of the world.

Propaganda Pamphlets14 Jun 2006 08:50 pm

Yes, sad but true:

reggie_1.gif

Now usually i dont have much to say about this type of nonsense; because I try to show a little bit of the respect for people that isnt shown to me, but I didnt really get the chance to tell the idiot that gave this to me so. . . drum roll please. . .

The top three reasons why I don’t need Jesus:

1. Jesus is not air

2. Jesus is not food or water

3. Jesus is not shelter or sleep

I could do a fourth but you get the point. Really all jokes aside stop giving these to me, you dont see me trying to convert you to the life of an agnostic, maybe I should make my very own agnostic pamphlets and start handing them out in response to the propaganda.

ADDED BONUS: Look at the lamb getting led to the slaughter, I’ve taken to many clangings to the head blank stare of the guy on the cover. Nice, obvioiuly doesnt take too much to be a minister. “He rose from the dead to defeat death” I think by the very definition of dead you’re not exactly beating death-sharp real sharp. Have you seen Jesus lately? I haven’t which to me suggests that he might not be doing to well with the whole defeating death thing, but thats just me, not trying to pass out crap in Costco or on the internet about it.

So recently (end of march) I bought a CD from some retard who thought he’d get over by selling a promo CD as a retail CD. Normally, I wouldn’t care its just in this case every song reminded me that it was a promo. So buyer (me) complains, seller (dipshit) says send it back, buyer sends it back, seller (dipshit) never issues refund. Buyer sends another email, this time no reply from seller. So buyer leaves negative feedback. Seller then has the nerve to copy and paste negative feedback on buyers (my) profile. So buyer files complaint with Ebay about seller, and contacts American Express (the hero of this narrative) for the charges to be investigated/reversed. All for $7.67. Is it because $7.67 is a lot of money, no. Is it because I refuse to let some dipshit (Eric Plum email:plumb20@earthlink.net) get over on me, exactly.

UPDATE: If you wanna see what dipshit looks like check out his myspace: http://www.myspace.com/eplumb
