So the big hot new Mac gadget is the iphone:

and wow doesn’t that slimmed down pda/smartphone/media player/camera look nice, so why not want one?

-4 or 8 GB means not enough storage.

-Touchscreen makes for lousy dialing surface.

-Touchscreen makes for lousy keyboard.

-OSX looks nice but I like outlook.

-Camera lense is only good for snap shots would still need a digital camera

-Lastly, but most importantly, contract is held exclusively through Cingular wireless. One of the most craptacular providers (if not the most) around. EDGE is slow compared to EV-DO. So i spend $500.00 dollars for a phone that is stuck getting bottle-necked from a crappy provider. (Of course it had to be 3G that way it could be sold across a wider market, but still no sense in paying for slow internet)

-I don’t like apple’s position on DRM.

and there kids is a quick couple of reasons to not feel too bad about being on a two-year contract with (insert your providers name) thus unable to hop on the iphone bandwagon (hopefully they’ll make one that runs windows mobile and has a decent screen-lock)

Anyhow, Digeable planets as a group is tight (H.O.B. L.A. 06-20-05) digeable planets solo I dont really want to pay to hear.
