That's Right

Some would like to think that I am negative towards shifty corporations and critical of everything so I made a list of some of the corporately owned things that I like:

1. American Express

American Express is the card of champions. Their customer service is on point, they have exclusive member deals (mywishlist.com), and when you call them for help you hardly ever get sent off-shore (if at all). Today I called Amex and they reduced my APR and reversed two finance charges, after losing my wallet they overnighted me a replacement card last Saturday. To make things even better they cut me a check every year for cash back on purchases that I would have had to make anyway (i.e. gas, bills, etc.) its to the point now where if a store doesn’t take Amex i really should not even shop there.

2. Costco

Costco has everything you need want to buy except homes. Despite changes they still have one of the best return policies in retail & they’ve been selling Hot Dogs for $1.50 for the past 24 years!

3. The Better Business Bureau?

A place (albeit biased) where you can take a step towards getting some rights as a consumer. Through the BBB I have received a refund and a rebate that would have otherwise been lost to the hands of greedy unscrupulous companies, despite their process being slow and not the most effective.

Rappcats

New 9-Track album from Madlib and Talib Kweli, thats free. About time some of these ‘artists’ started putting their actions behind what they talk about. “I’m against ‘the system’ but use it to purchase my recordings, because I respect/accept ‘the systems’ business model.”

Rant aside…good promotional move, especially considering the cover art and that radio wouldn’t find them jiggy enough to play anyway. Download it and tell your friends. Support NON-DRM laden bullshit, a unique approach to marketing, and all the other shit that says its double-O seven biatch!!

This one was a rida, she banged on the police, tried to get 2Pac into the National Archives, and on her way out said, “Fuck Dubya!”

It seems that atheists and agnostics occupy an estimated 12% of the population in the states.

Here is the Article.

Maybe if we had more people, finding “… comfort in reality, in nature and the universe.” We might be killin’ less Arabs and the impoverished. Well I guess it’s mostly simply those who are impoverished Arabs, so impoverished would have been enough.

Even better about the article: “they don’t want to convert their religious neighbors”.  Talk about refershing. I get pretty sick of retards trying to catch my soul. (Sorry they’re mentally challenged.)

So in a nut-shell while faith isn’t much worth debating…agnostics WHAT!?

Ahoy! Matee!

Looks like there’s some folks sailing the high seas in Asia. I wonder if there is some Chinese equivalent of the RIAA or if they just leave it up to the cyber-police? I would have tested this chinese yahoo out, but aside from the language barrier, I like my door on its hinges (no ATF style raids please). Plus I didnt see anything I wanted, . . . yet.
